Meet Jessica Clark.
Founder of the Connected Co.
As a California girl, I grew up playing at the beach, water-skiing at the lake, and guiding the neighborhood kids in various activities.
I credit my Dad for my attention to detail. He was an extremely hard worker and was often given accolades for the quality of work he did. His consistent message to my sister and I was that when you do something, you do it right and you do it well. A strong work ethic was instilled in me at a very young age and is something I take great pride in.
My current work emerged out of years of running my own businesses or helping others run theirs. In every job that I held from the age of 14 on, I would implement stronger systems, marketing ideas and strategies or even convince my superiors to let me create my own job title. I would evaluate what the business needed and connect with the right people to ensure success.
At The Connected Co., I focus on consulting other businesses on how to not just survive, but thrive. I use strategy, intuition, creativity, collaboration, community and custom systems to make businesses more profitable, and more fulfilling. I work with clients in my collaborative mastermind and take on a few private consulting clients each quarter.
I also produce women-centered events designed to connect women to communities of female business owners by showcasing their professional offerings and collaborating with them to increase fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives.
I combine over two decades of professional and personal work and I integrate my backgrounds in marketing, advertising, business ownership.
As a small business owner for 15 years I have navigated the ups and downs of ownership and have amassed a wealth of knowledge and connections that I use to help others succeed. Together, my husband Kevin and I have built and run 7 restaurants. Kevin’s expertise in construction, engineering and creative solutions matched with my attention to detail and and big picture perspective has been the perfect recipe for our ideas to come to fruition.
My business savvy, keen mind and inclusive approach are what I contribute to my own success, however, it’s the life that I have built with Kevin, and our children Harper and Dax that drives my passion.

Club Kind
Charitable giving is at the heart of everything The Connected Co. does. Born out of a desire to give to those in her community in need of an act of kindness, Jessica founded Club Kind in her hometown of Carpinteria in 2009. Club Kind is a grass-roots program that takes the paperwork and overwhelming fundraising out of the equation and gives directly to the recipient by gathering people together, pooling resources and giving to someone in need. Since then, other “chapters” of CK have popped up in several different US cities bringing other communities together. The Connected Co. would love to have you be a part of this incredible group. It’s the easiest yet one of the most rewarding things you can do.
